Mercado La Perseverancia, more street art, and Pontifica Universidad Javeriana

Today is a work day - but we had breakfast with Michelle's doctoral student Andy at the world-famous Plaza Distrital de Mercado La Perseverancia about a 4-minute walk from our Airbnb. This place was made famous by Netflix' "Street Food-Latin America" and MasterChef.

This was $2: Coffee or delicious hot chocolate, eggs con gusto, avocado, plantain, and arepa

Calle Linda (restaurants) near-adjacent to Perseverancia (also a few minutes from our place). A beautiful street right near "La Perse" on the way back down the hill (towards Septima) to our Airbnb.

Jorge drove up to Pontifica Universidad Javeriana (15 minute walk; 10-minute drive in traffic). This gorgeous campus is where we'll be presenting first thing tomorrow.

We're presently staying (just tonight) at Rosales Plaza Hotel in Chapinero due to the scheduled water outage in the International Disrict today. But... it's conveniently close to Zona G - (G for "gourmet") - a foodie destination in Bogota.

At a street light!
